Were they worn or are they still new?

The band has not been sized, it's a 5 I believe. The engagement ring is a 7 1/2. The engagement ring was worn (very briefly). He doesn't have any documents on the rings. He said the clarity was a J. It looks very nice. The center stone is a half carat.
