Anybody that can market dog **** and get people to pay for it is a good marketer.

Though getting people to sign off on the hollywood **** Elvis did deserves an honorary nomination.

Another cover he did well..

He did a fine cover but that is song that no matter who you are and how well you do it, it pales beside the original.

You wanna hear about crazy Jerry Lee Lewis was/is insane!

True! Mike Judge did a short lived animated series called something like Tales from the Tour Bus about many of the old Country greats. It was a pretty interesting series and it turns out a lot of those guys were nucking futs but Jerry Lee probably took the prize.

He was not a songwriter. He was a cover artist...with a good voice and decent basic rythm knowledge of a guitar.....He didn't suck like Michael Bolton does and had better marketing.
