I can't say I saw this coming. TV's Dr. Oz is running to represent Pennsylvania as a Senator, aiming to earn the GOP nomination to replace outgoing Senator Pat Toomey.

I'm sure he knows his specialty (cardiothoracic surgery), but then claiming to be a super-expert in all things medical related....yeah, not the way that works. There are a myriad of specialties because specialization is necessary.
Makes him a good candidate - "I know everything, and can fix everything, and everyone should listen to me."

I saw him once on TV - in scrubs.

I live in PA now, and the one that I constantly see ads for is Carla Sands. I don't know much about her other than she was an economic advisor to President Trump. She does seem to have some money behind her since she is advertising so much.

There is a black woman running on the Republican side who is supposedly a strong supporter of the 2A. I don't really know much about her either, other than they have been saying she would be the first African-American in the Senate from PA if elected. Don't really care about that, but I like the pro-2A part.

The expected Dem candidate is the Lt. Governor who is running on a platform of raising the minimum wage and legalizing weed, and he already has over 6 million in the bank for his campaign.

Well, hopefully there will be a strong conservative candidate in the primary. But still better a RINO than a Dem. RINOs are "tyranny lite" version, but the Dems are full-blown authoritarian socialists nowadays.

Don't trust him....he is a liberal trying to take a Republican seat. he is a Muslim also, they believe its ok to lie to further the "cause." How many years has he hung around Liberals...now he is trying to hang around people like Hannity....anyone watch that interview.....he was reading all his comments off of something you could tell by his eyes. He was all on board with flu shots and covid shots and at one time demanding people get them right now. But dumb republicans will vote for him because he says he is a republican. We need some Americans to infiltrate the democrat party and get elected.

I know many Christians who do just that (or decide that morality is no longer important). And what politician doesn't do that?

Well... Trump was once a democrat, and hung around with Democrats all his life...

He was all on board with flu shots and covid shots and at one time demanding people get them right now.
Yeah, those things are terrible. How dare a doctor tell people to get vaccinated.

But dumb republicans will vote for him because he says he is a republican.
    Um...

We need some Americans to infiltrate the democrat party and get elected.
I got a better idea: Just get sane, qualified, competent people to run as Republicans. Democrats certainly aren't popular now.

I don't like Dr. Oz (what's his real name?) one bit, but come'on...
