    I say go for the super sniper. I have heard nothing but good about them. I think the lower magnification would be better as well. You'll spend less time saying "where the heck is the target?"

    Nikon gets very good marks from paid tactical riflemen around here.

    IMO you are looking at way too much magnification on your scopes. As for me, I rarely use more than 6 or 8 power. 10 power is good for 600 yards.

    I think adjustable paralax is more important than high magnification.

    Yes. Way too much magnification. A nice 4 power will do you very good. Variable power scopes use to be not as good as fixed power, but you may look at those, if you haven't done so already.

    nova, I checked out the monarch then decided on the buckmaster instead. the 3% light transmission advantage wasnt enough for me to want to pay the extra 100 bucks.
