I recently got a bow again and after much practice I feel confident to try deer hunting. Never having done this before I don't know where to hunt in Northwest Indiana around LaPorte county area. I don't know anyone who has land. I hope to be able to hunt from the ground. How do I go about finding a site? :dunno:

Thanks guys. If I have a license what more do I need to be able to go onto Kingsbury property? Special permission?

Nope you should be fine, although I would check in with the ranger's office (if they have one at any property I hunt) If it is a place with only a "box" there is a form you have to fill out typically. Make sure you follow all posted signs, especially the time in and time out rules.
