    Great thread... this indeed should be stickied in the General Discussion forum. I'd love to try some of this for myself.... sigh.. so many things to learn, so little time.

    Nice work on those. Did you source the pre-Bs from Robertson's? That's where I got my three from. What grips did you end up going with? One of these days I'll get around to photographing the other two that were refinished and post those. One has a silver slide, black frame and the other has a dark silver frame and a blued slide. Both of those are running CajunGunWorks trigger kits too.

    Yup, they came from Tennessee. Two have new stock grips and the nightstand gun wears Hogue softies and tritium sights. Haven't spring for the tritiums for the other two yet.

    How did you prep the metal? Did you sand at all or blast it with abrasive before painting? Any way to scratch proof the finish once you paint? Great work!
