Honestly I just wish they'd quit monkeying around with the rules. It's a game. It has rules (more than enough rules). When's the last time Hoyle changed the rules for card games? When's the last time the rules for Monopoly changed? I'm sure it's done in the name of "safety" but c'mon.

I was in a bar having lunch a couple of weeks ago and ESPN was on one of the tvs. The sound was turned down, but the banner at the bottom of the page said that the Colts were impressed with his play making ability. I take that as a good sign.

Yep. Arm talent and athleticism were never the question. Can he learn/run an NFL offense with some efficiency? That will determine the longevity of his career.

Note: Rodgers' suspension is indefinite, and at least the 2023 season. As of yet, it is not limited to a single season.

With or without Ballard's stance regarding high-character players, I don't think any GM keeps a player suspended for at least a full season, when that player is entering a contract year. The player will be a free agent (unless re-signed under suspension) before being eligible to play again.
