Some things to watch over the weekend.

Our old buddy Carson Wentz and the Commanders are taking on the Titans in Washington. Would love to see Mr. Inconsistent to have himself a day.

Texans and Jags play each other in Jacksonville.

Saw someone on Twitter say he was going to be the most athletic electrician of all time next year. :D

I wasn't very happy in my analysis of week five:

I've been reading these all season and just now realized you were writing them. LOL. I look forward to reading them every week.

Per Frank Reich’s media availability today, the plain is to stick with rookie Bernhard Raimann at LT

Probably the right decision. Matt Pryor was an abject disaster and they really need Raimann to develop into a serviceable starter.

They signed several other offensive linemen as well. Honestly it’s a good sign that Reich/Ballard see what everybody else clearly sees. We hear so much “we really like the players we’ve got” or “we think he’s got some upside”. The proof is in the pudding. Signing guys off the street is an obvious admission that they know that what they have ain’t gettin it done.

Told to me by an old (WW ll) navy guy. Never heard yours.
He might have gotten it from the original... :)

Also known as a proverb, “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride” is a traditional nursery rhyme originating from the 16th century England.
