Dug this one out of back of safe. Wondering if it would be worth having polished and blued. It is a great little pistol.
Colt Junior made in 1971 in U.S.woild be better for resale in this condition or after rebluing?

Colt Junior is a rebranded Astra Cub. That said, quality is exellent on these guns that came in .25 and .22 short. Don't reblue it. Serious and even moderate Colt collectors like these. Last ones I saw in gun stores were $400-$450, but that was before the recent gun buying craziness

Thanks for reply. This is one of the later pistols, made by Colt in U.S. The Astra pistols are marked as being made by Astra.

I probably used to know that, but with age comes memory loss. Good luck with your gun, it looks pretty clean.
Thank you. I bought just as it is, over 30 years ago. Might be just a .25 acp, but it'll give you a bad day.

My grandmother had a Astra Firecat .25 I got working for her after my gpa passed. A dirt bag family member stole it when she got sick, I would love to have that thing back.

Whether it was made in Spain or the US, there is no premium either way. There is a 25% premium for .22 short.
