    Bed stayed in place, but not because of rusty bolts but because of cheap tools :-/

    Decided just to drop the tank and suffer through that process. Took about 3 hours or so (5 if you count the union mandated breaks).

    After turning the key to on and back to off 3 times, I attempted to start it and she fired right up.

    Good job! And it's something you know how to do if God forbid it happens again.

    Hope not to, but I'm confident I could do it quicker if I need to.
    Hopefully going with a Bosch instead of autozone parts will help prolong having to do it again.

    I know someone who has put 5 pumps in his wife's Blazer.He has put 1 in his own Blazer.She always runs on empty.He always runs on full.

    Tank had quite a bit of fuel in it when I lowered it. I filled up 2 five gallon gas cans trying to reduce the weight before putting it back in place. There was probably another 10 gallons in there. :)

    I try not to go below a 1/4 tank.
