I had a thought, and that is rare I know, but this might have merit!

Anyway, I was thinking that it would be a good idea for INGunowners to have a business card that could be put a gun shops that would allow it. I have seen several shops that either have card wall, or a stack of cards for various gun related services and or smiths and the like. My idea is to just have a template that we could make, and then be able to download and print out ourselves on card stock and then keep in the wallet and or drop off at a local friendly gun shop.

Good idea/bad idea? Make the template in word and works and maybe OpenOffice format so anyone can print them out. Might help spread the word some, though it does appear to be growing pretty well already.

Anyway, random thought of the minute for me!

I could get out my Crayola Crayons..... ;)

Mike, I might be willing to, depending on the design and number of colors, actually have 1000 or so cards printed. After someone comes up with a design, I'll see what our Graphics Lady charges for a stack.

Sounds good. I think we want to have something saved here so members can print them off if they have card stock at home. I wouldn't mind having some cards made up for myself. Please include the image of a Glock on the card. ;) Thanks!

Here's what I came up with. What do you think?

I drew it up at 3.25 x 1.75, which gives some error room in case it isn't centered on the card. I don't know why it is showing up so big.

I like the general idea of it, but I think it'd be better if it matched the site a little better. Consistency and all that. :)

I drew mine up more for you to print them on your own card stock. If you want to have them printed, then that design is fine. However, I don't feel like having to replace my printer's ink cartridges after every couple sheets of cards.

Mine doesn't look so bad in it's actual size.

I just used the graphics I had on hand. The idea to get across was the coloring. Ri22o's draft is fine -- i just would have made the red in RGB(66,33,33) and the green in RGB(74,81,55). Or maybe the khaki -- RGB(213,214,181).... To match the site colors...*shrug*
