I bore sighted a rifle today; just a reminder...
If the bore is centered on a target and the cross hairs of the scope are below the target, that means the shot would have gone high if you had shot with the cross hairs centered on the target. So, you need to adjust the scope DOWN until the cross hairs are centered on the target.
It is easy to do it wrong if you don't think it through.
