Blacked out buses thru Mooresville on 67?

About 2pm today the wife saw 3 blacked out buses, all black with darkened windows and no markings. These were big tour bus types. Police escort and no stops a lights. Anyone have a clue who/what that was? The curious wife wants to know.

Most probably are liberal Democrats but I think most tour buses are blacked out like that anymore. I know we rented a couple for the Taiwanese members and veterans a few years back and they had very dark tinted windows.

I saw some yesterday morning after dropping DoggyMama off at the airport. They were getting off on 67 from 465 so I figured that's what they were (college teams). I didn't understand why they needed the police escorts though.

Because the safety of college/professional athletes is way more important than that of us poors, hospitals, police stations, religious institutions, ad nauseum.

Most of the tour busses I used to see were colorful with a company name or logo on the side. But I haven't look at them for years, I just pass them by.

Of course, what was I thinkin'! Here's a thought... maybe it would be safer if they didn't... you know, drive 30 mph on the interstate.

The first two rounds have games being played at Alumni Hall and Mackey Arena, but all the teams are staying in Indianapolis hotels.
