best model of sig 226?

the navy is a good model but I prefer the SCT. get a couple flush fit mags and you will be all set.

I dont think you can go wrong with any model of 226. I have just a plain jane 226 from about '92 and love it.

.40 is going to be snappier than the 9mm. How much are you wanting to spend? You can spend $400 to $2,000 on a 226.

226, YES. I love the stainless elites.

That said, mines an old plain jane retired IDPA gun with thousands of rounds through it, and it's still an excellent shooter. Get what you like, but do get one!

bought the plain jane 226 myself and love it...took it to the range today and think i might head back tommorrow
