BBNO (Boys Beer Night Out)

For the past couple of years a few friends and I have had these BBNO events. Sadly, two of our favorite places have closed: The Pint Room in Carmel; and Hop Cat in Broad Ripple. Both had over a hundred different beers on tap. The closest thing we have found is Harry's Old Kettle in Wabash which has 26 taps. We all love this place but don't want to go there every time.

Any suggestions for another place or two to visit? We all live in Kokomo or the north side of Indy, so want to stay in that area. We prefere not to go to breweries as they only serve thier own creations. The Mad Tap in Tipton has a few taps, but we all don't think their food is very good.

Taxman in Bargersville, but it's a haul for you. Grains And Grills in Fremont. Food has been excellent both places. Changes more often and is more eclectic at Taxman.

I second tax man for a good set of brews.
Union 50 on East street in downtown Indianapolis has a pretty nice set up, big bar selection and good food.

Its a shame Muncie is a haul for you guys, even better when the college is on break, they have a few decent places like
Elm St Brewery, I'm not a beer guy but they do a ok old fashioned / manhattan.
1825 Pubhouse has good burgers and others.
Ron Lahodys Steak House. Good steaks
Amazing Joes has good apps, steaks and burgers.

Another place that has been on more than off for us is Hoosier Routes in Summitville. I've had better lunches there by myself than dinners with the girl that tolerates me.
