Battlefield 3!

Anybody play battlefield 3 on the PC? It would be nice to have competent squad members for once.

Would love to, but my 5 year old Triple core AMD Phenom is at the bare minimum to push it. Until I build a new rig, I regulated to BFBC2.

I hear Microsoft is coming out with a new console at the end of the year. If this happens I'll be buying a Steam Box. Yeah, I can't wait.

I used to play on ps3. But since sony cant get their together and get rid of the hackers I quit. I was in the colonel 20s. Almost broke my playstation because hackers made me so mad. Yeeeep

I used to be big into PC games, especially Americas Army and other team microphone games. I miss them dearly, but my PC is also a few years old now, and I know I cannot compete.

My son plays on Xbox, but I absolutely HATE the controllers. The first problem is having your thumb control aim and movement--I cannot do it. The controller also seems to lag a bit as compared to the precision and control of a mouse.

When I do get a new PC I think Arma will be the main course.

I think if you can run bfbc2, you should be able to run bf3 on lower graphics.
I had a couple buddys who had similar issues with PCs not being up to spec, but they were still able to run it very well on low graphics.

Same username on BF3 as I have here. I do not get to play very often, but it is a good game.


Console gaming is for children, PC is the only way to play.

I am pretty sure a buddy of mine owns a teamspeak server we could use.
I just need to ask him for the info once he gets online.

EDIT: Unless you guys prefer skype? That's what me and my buddies usually use.
Once I got used to voice activation on skype, I could never go back to the push-to-talk of teamspeak,
and Teamspeaks voice activation sucks.

Oh yes. It is a completely different game. It so so much for fun as well.
I am just sick and tired of playing with pub nubs who don't know teamwork if it were to hit em in the face.
I definitely would like a more organized squad or two

I play on PS3 every now and then. BF3 is my favorite first player shooter to play online. I play hardcore only. I play maybe twice a month for a couple of hours. If anyone ever plays PS3 my name is Praetorian_51
