Basic Firearms and Marksmanship Training. New Castle, IN

PD Firearms and Tactical training will be hosting a basic firearms and marksmanship class in New Castle, IN on April 12th 2008. I know most members of this forum do not need basic firearms, but if anyones spouse or friends need a start this is a good place to begin. The class will be approximately 8 hours with classroom and live fire. The cost is $50 plus $10 range fee for a total of $60. I can be contacted at 765-545-0327.

They way it is set up right now, it will be approximately 200 rounds. It may be a little less depending on the time spent getting the basics down.

Rhino you are more than welcome to stay if you like. The website is still being worked on. The range is about 3 miles west of New Castle along State Road 38.

New Castle? Is this at the Wilbur Wright range?

Yes, but I will be using the FOP range for training.

We'll will have more classes this summer and planning a shotgun or rifle class for people who complete the basic or have attened other formal classes before.

Trying to get the Sheriff to send some of ours guys to this class. LOL..

We'll also be giving out info to promote USPSA at the class.

I would like to bring some of the knowledge I have learned in SWAT and patrol to some of the good citizens of Indiana. This includes what has worked well and not worked some well during operations and on patrol. As far as classes I'm open to what I have knowledge of and someone wants to learn.

I will added more later, trying to type and drive while working.

I'm looking for a class for my nephew to take. He doesn't have a pistol yet. If he took this class would you have some pistols available for him to use and shoot?

I have a glock 34 9mm and mags he could use. He would just need his own ammo for the class.

Could use more people to fill up this class. You will get your money worth, if you enjoy shooting. Also open to shooting long guns or other guns once the class is over. We can take the range back to about 100 yards.
