I built this rifle for my daughter to use on a South Dakota prairie dog hunt that will not be happening any longer.
Description: Upper receiver is no 'Forward Assist' and no 'Dust Cover'. 20" Krieger 1:7.7 S.S. Heavy barrel w/CLE chamber and Bolt Carrier Group. I lapped the barrel to receiver surface also. Straight cylinder free float handguard w/attachment point for accessories and sling swivel.
Lower receiver is Matrix Aerospace w/2.5 - 2.75 lb. single stage trigger. The A2 butt stock has a lead wedge inserted as this was really built as a bench/ prone rifle.
I broke the barrel in with my 77 grain Berger OTM loads, the last 5 going into 1.22" at 200 yrds. This rifle should really like the 75 grain VLD's.
