When we had to eventually have this one put down (nothing to do with her cast in this pic - she had survived getting hit by a car after getting out of the fenced in yard), I couldn't even speak to the vet tech that came out to meet us at the car. She was my buddy and, while a trouble maker sometimes, a very good dog.

Maggie would between 10:00 to 10:30 almost every night would start digging at a particular spot on the carpet. Other times get lost in the house. Totally bewildered look them come out of it.
Vet Said it was doggie dementia, sun-downers specifically and other times she would get so scared. We decided not to medicate with downers it seemed unfair for her to be so scared.

That’s Charlie in the pic. Maggie was so good teaching how her to be a good dog. Maggie was really slowing down and Charlie added many good years to Her life.
