Any West Side Mower Repair Guys ?

I've got a 96 B&S 5.5 hp push mower that runs for 10 minutes and quits (damn union mower ) , it's got new gas , plug and oil . I'm not any kind of mechanic so it could be the operator but it ran fine last year .

Take the float bowl off the carb, and clean it out. Make sure gas is flowing good.
Take fuel line off of carb and make sure it has good flow.
clean the air filter.

Does it start right back up after it dies ? Maybe vent in gas cap is plugged .

Dude, clean the carb, it's easy to do if you have both thumbs.

Check out this video, I rebuilt mine last week. Pain free, just watch the video once or twice before doing it.

What's the model # on the engine?

No it has to rest for 10 -15 then it'll run for another 10 minutes .

Did that then blew it all dry .
