Sure. Post a pic. Also, if I took a picture of it, can you guys tell me if I have a dropped pitman? I really can't tell...
Popping noise when turning left and right keys me in to the bracket that mounts the track bar to the axle. The bolt hole wallows out and allows the entire axle to move left and right when steering, and that's the pop sound.

A buddy of mine welded a couple steel washers over the hole and it has held up for some time. I suspect, a fix like the above will be in order the next time it occurs.
That's a stock pitman arm.
I'm recruiting again! Any volunteer vehicles/drivers for the 2013 Hoosier Outdoor Experience?

They day before?ooo...interested. When do you need to know by?
They day before?
Seriously, though, the earlier the better for planning purposes. We'll shut down registration the week before. You've got a while.....
I am really interested, I don't really want to use my Jeep but will (a friend said I could drive his at times for this event (JEremy in a blue JKU)
Are you regearing or just fixing a bad one?
If the latter it might be cheaper and less hassle to just visit Pic a Part and yank a whole axle.
$115 if they call an XJ a truck, for complete rear axle, at P-A-P.
You never know what they'll have, so some trips are a bust.
It's only an hr drive for me, so worth the look-see now and then.
Haven't been for a while, need a rear hatch for mine, and a door harness (short section).
I too need a new front axle, but D30 drag out by myself isn't much fun. Way heavier than a D35 rear.
I'm getting older and more lazy by the minute!
Just caught this part. You know Jeremy? He mentioned someone may be piloting his JKU that weekend, while he and I are working the event. Small world!(a friend said I could drive his at times for this event (JEremy in a blue JKU)
