Any good gun stores in LaPorte area?

Wife wants to visit Ollie’s in LaPort, so what’s there for me to do?
Dunham’s is all I know about....I do need some .22...

There is a gun shop in MI city Kemp gun shop. And bass pro shops is not too far. Not sure how much time you have.

Maple City Sports is all we have. It’s downtown, on Lincolnway.

Probably won’t have much modern stuff in stock, but he usually has quite a few long guns from yesteryear.

I doubt you’ll have much luck with ammo either.

Still, if you’re gonna be in town anyways... it’s worth a look.

About 45 minutes east will get you Top Shot Armory (South Bend) and Midwest Gun Exchange (Mishawaka)

Yeah, Kemp nice little store. I remember being there and cats laying all over. Plus they had a nice selection of Cowboy Action gun holsters.
Always did want to visit Midwest.
Any closer to Michigan an the wife will want to visit Four Winn’s......

Yep, saw a banner mounted on the side of a parked semi trailer in the lot stating this.

I think Laporte residents will support that store. I like TSC, but the west side residents will probably incorporate their shopping there like choosing the west side hardware store as opposed to the one by Al’s supermarket.

Rual King stores are like all “Farm and Home” stores. They’re just like Big R (Stock n Field).
They have good selections of hardware, farming items, sporting goods ie: hunting n fishing, kayaks etc., clothes like jeans n flannels, boots and lady’s wear too. You’ll like the store.

Not much to do gunshop-wise around here but at least you won't have much time wasted. Ollies can't keep anyone distracted for more than a minute or two. Bet you won't even have time to cross the street for a coffee,......Starbucks and Dunkin are on the corner.
