Absolutely Pami and thanks for bringing that to our attention. I have two Girl Scouts at home who don't take it very seriously.
Gold Award is pretty hard to achieve from what I can tell but then again the GS Troop my girls are involved in look like a bit of a weeny troop.... Besides, you know what happened to a the Brownie's right? The Cub Scouts ate them all!
No seriously, I have high admiration for Girl Scouts as I ran into a few that went to Philmont and went on some of the same treks we took. Those are no easy tasks.
To Pami, and everyone else who were close, but never got that last rank... It's never too late to organize a community project in the name of Scouting or just doing a good deed...
