Obviously infrastructure is an issue still. IMHO, until they can fix the power grid so we don't have or face threats of rolling blackouts then the grid isn't ready for it. Beyond that, how do they plan to dispose of all the batteries? Last I knew the life expectancy for an EV battery was 10yrs.

Have you ever planned meals around proximity to a gas station? No? Me either.

When I drove long distances, all the time. I drove until I needed gas, then stopped for gas and ate where I stopped.

Of course I would eat on the road, but that is a different matter.
