Last night I was teaching an Intro to Firearms class. We went on break and then the class handles flagged guns at the counter for some hands on so they can get a feel for what guns fit their hands. A young (mid 20's) female takes me aside and asks me a series of questions that I answer. Then she says she lives down town and has never felt she has ever been in danger. Am I in danger? "Everyone I know that carries a gun say they hope they never have to use it, and none of them ever have."
It is only a three hour class and questions like this make it very hard to stay even close to on time.
At the end of the class she was very pleased with class and very complimentary.
