Product called alumablack works decent. Surface has to be completely clean and free of oxidation. Which means to get a good result you almost have to beadblast or use it on a freshly machined part.
Put up a For Trade ad and trade it for a black one or sell it/buy your black one. Or look at some 1911 ads (here or armslist) that have been collecting dust. Send those people messages asking if they'd like to swap triggers. You might get a bite...

'Alumablack' should work just fine. To prep the trigger, wipe down with de-natured alchohol and let it air dry for an hour or so..... before working with the Alumablack.
