Hopefully Sheriff Cochran is sued into utter oblivion by Rep Stringer, who then runs for the office of Sheriff, and wins.

This is getting out of hand. Donate money to the wrong defense fund? Lose your job. Support something that is the law in 20 States? Lose your job.
    THIS.

Its one thing to be caught donating to some KKK Grand dragon or something. But to something that is 100% legal?

We are circling the drain unless we reverse this nonsense.

Is this even legal? Certainly, it isn`t ethical.

Nevertheless, it only further illustrates that law enforcement cannot have any say in our constitutional rights. PERIOD. Constitutional carry has to be exactly what the Founders envisioned and intended.
    Legal, probably, but not ethical.

Frankly, I think the man is being punished for trying to eat into his boss' bottom line. (assuming that state uses the permit dollars for LEO stuff. )

This is about WAY more than just dollars. This is about the agenda of controlling the People, and subverting the United States Constitution.
I was being generous. I do not disagree with you. You also have a very valid point. Cant have the sheep being their own wolves, now can we?

Some years ago I attended a Human Resources seminar put on by a local employment law firm. The issue of wrongful termination came up. The lawyer giving the presentation made it quite clear that the "at will" law in Indiana is almost irrelevant. Almost every jury, judge or review board will side with the employee UNLESS they were written up or verbally reprimanded at least three (3) times.

Most folks will ignore the law and want to see that an employee had some chance to correct a problem.

The issue where folks are fired and there are no repercussions is mostly due to the fact that most employees do not or will not push the issue. They don't have the mental or financial strength to do so.

    Regards,

    Doug

That and the fact that if they don’t want you there, why would you want to go back? They’ll just keep looking for reasons till they find one that sticks, or they will jack with your schedule or assignments until you leave.

The only reason to fight is if you think you can soak them for cash under wrongful termination or you want to leave by quitting and avoid having a term on your record.

At least that’s how I see it.

    Blessings,
    Bill
