The ride is about enjoyment. I like hearing the music that evokes good memories. Do whatever you want that makes the ride fun for you.

When I had my Harley, I really enjoyed the sound of the engine, the sound of the tires and pavement. It allowed me to admire the scenes around me that you couldn't see in a car. For me, music would have ruined it. The road, the engine, the view and the freedom was my music :)

I sold it so I can have less debt and I also bought a ring for my fiancé, now my wife.

You know, the ironic part is I asked a legitimate question, and it has turned into this whole "If you don't think like us, you are wrong" thing. I simply asked about some speakers, and its turned into labeling based on how a few have acted with their speakers on their bikes. Or you are just going against the grain of how it used to be, which also makes you wrong.

This is similar to how labeling with guns goes. A couple act out, everyone takes the blame. Douchebaggery at its finest.

My first thought when I saw the thread title is that you simply need to add some extra seats and perhaps a sidecar so you have plenty of room for John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi, Dennis Hastert, and Newt Gingrich.

Yeah, I've got a thought. Nobody wants to listen to your crappy music. Since you're not in an enclosed box (like a car), you're officially one of those idiots that annoys everybody if you have speakers on your motorcycle and blare them loud enough for you to hear when you ride.

so you ask for other members opinions and then you are upset with some of the responses ?
Then you toss a little tantrum and edit all your earlier posts like a petulant angry child.
    now it's douchebaggery ... LOL
Get a thicker skin dude. If you don't want other peoples thoughts , don't ask for them.

I'm willing to bet you're already a " look at meeeeeee". You,re just missing the Fosgate.

Ill bring you up to speed. When I first started this, it was based on asking about mounting speakers (no fairing). I was asking about sound quality etc, not whether I should do it or not. Ive decided I will likely mount them, once I find a good setup. A lot of my riding is commuting (no in town, so I wont disturb all the soccer moms).

As far as the look at me, HA! Im more of a JL Audio type of person, not that cheap Fosgate crap.

Guess we have to start chastising people for driving with their windows down on their car.

Because nothing says "Audiophile" like listening to JL speakers over road noise and your Harley exhaust.

For the record, I used to design and install audio equipment. JL is overpriced garbage and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between JL and Fosgate in the listening environment you're proposing (motorcycle) if they were properly installed and tuned.

As far as the look at me, HA! Im more of a JL Audio type of person, not that cheap Fosgate crap.

    You asked a question.
you are getting responses from answers to opinion's.
you put it out there so deal with it. This is standard stuff.

    I got your douche bag.
