Are we going to finally start seeing semi-truck driver's charged, even if it is just an "accident?" They want to use the word "professional" in their job description, yet some want to act like a semi vs. smaller passenger vehicle crash is no different than an Accord hitting a Malibu. They just found a kid in the NE guilty of texting while driving causing a fatal crash. It has been very rare for me to hear of semi-truck driver's being charged in the same fashion. It is usually only if they were drinking/on drugs, or they were driving very recklessly, or it is some unrelated charge in terms of the dangerous driving they did which resulted in a death.

I hope, Indy...I hope. It's all up the the Prosecuting Attorney ultimately, but a lot of us have out fingers crossed that she throws the book at the at-fault driver.
