I picked up a PSA 9mm billet reciever that takes Glock mags the other day and am looking into a SBR project. I'm looking for a little insight from others who have ran a 9mm SBR suppressed. I'm in the stage on planning and picking up parts for my upper and my question is how short of a barrel can you run before you need to run a booster on your suppressor? It's really not a problem because I have a booster, but I would rather run without if possible. Appreciate any insight.

No, fixed barrel = NO booster. I run 4.5" barrel. I have an AAC Tirant 9 with fixed barrel spacer.

I'm running a CMMG 8.5" barreled upper on a CMMG lower. It has a Griffin Arms 3 lug adapter. I use my AAC Eco-9 can in it with a AAC 3 lug mount.

It's pretty quite with the 147 factory loads and down right fun with my 165gr hand loads.

You don't need a booster on a fixed barrel.

And Rookie did it first, I just stole his great idea. His will be completely different though.

And mine will be better simply because I'll be biased! Of course, mine is pure garbage because I don't have my stamps yet! Have I mentioned that this sucks?

I load 147's for my sub loads right now, but the 165's have peaked my interest and I have been wanting to get a box to load up and try out.
