I just load it because I like to load ammo. And I like to have a crap ton of it. Saving a couple bucks is just a small bonus.OK. So you're saving about 1/3 of the price if you can reload for $.12/rd, and can buy new for ~$.18 rd. Thanks. I was just curious, b/c when I looked into it years ago, the price between reload and buy new in bulk was very close for 9mm.
Anywhere from 2 to 3 cents a casejust curious, what is the typical price for once fired 9mm brass? is it worth picking up and saving at the range? myself i only have dies for .44mag.
People buy 9mm brass? Never did myself. I just pick it when I find it. Have several thousand.just curious, what is the typical price for once fired 9mm brass? is it worth picking up and saving at the range? myself i only have dies for .44mag.
The only time I bought any was when a friend passed away and there was kind of an estate sale. I say kind of because his wife knew he had a tight group of friends and let us buy whatever at cost. I took a hit, way about the 2 - 3 cents, but it was all going to a 529 for his recently born daughter so I couldn't be too upset.People buy 9mm brass? Never did myself. I just pick it when I find it. This ^^^.With the price of primers, the only benefit to reloading 9mm is to get custom stuff you cant get elsewhere.
