Hi INGO - I am a reserve officer at my hometown police department. Like so many small town departments, we are severely limited on our annual training budget and currently there is no program in place to meet the ammunition needs of my fellow officers. As such, I have worked out a deal where the department will donate components to me (bullets, powder, primers), and I will in turn donate the reloaded ammunition to the department. No money changes hands - I'm nor doing it for a profit at all. I am looking to supplement the donation with any once fired or range brass our INGO community might have to spare. My goal is to give my fellow offcers the tools to train in order to stay sharp behind their pistol sights. I would be interested in any donations or even cheaply priced used brass. I will be loading some 40, but mostly 45. I am happy to show whomever my LEO credentials - I am certainly not out to get one over on anyone here. This is simply an attempt to further serve my department, and more broadly, my community. I am not a particularly wealthy man, and although I am happy to donate my time and diligence to the cause, I simply do not have the resources to acquire a stockpile of brass off the bat. I do scour the ranges for whatever I can find, though. Please give it some thought and send me a note if you are interested in helping. My department is a great group of guys who are pro 2a, and try to do right by people. Thanks for your time.

    Josh

Bump. Still looking to flesh out the supply. I can toss a little coin at it...anything is appreciated! Thanks to the support so far, I have around 1500 45 brass and nearly as many 40 cal. That's a great start for the dept! I have a feeling once the first delivery lands at the department, they will be looking to organize a couple of group shoot outings for the dept....and there will go the first batch!
