Make it 5 of 7. This time it was not broken but it was missing instructions and several parts of the order. The items were removed for the original packaging. The credited me 75 dollars for this last screwup.
They push their "packers" pretty hard to keep up a tough daily production rate. It's faster to overbox an order than find a box of just the right size.
Amazon is a buzzsaw. I work in the web order fulfillment field in the Indy area and almost every new face that works for me has worked at one of the local Amazon fulfillment centers at one time. I've heard quite a few things about Amazon by extension. Not many people stick on with them. They keep the good ones and pay them well.
3 or 4 years of using Amazon for home and business, only had any issue one time. I had ordered a carpet sweeper for my business. It disappeared into UPS's dark abyss, to never be seen again. Called Amazon, had another one sent overnight. I didn't even have to deal with filing a claim with UPS.
