I have an “in law” in West Virginia that needs some .257” Nosler bullets. Not sure what weight he uses but, he is loading for a Weatherby. Checked online, nada. Checked Kempf’s, nada. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I've used Nosler 100gr Ballistic Tips for antelopes and 120gr Partitions for Mulies and Elk.
The BT's were absolute lasers on 'Lopes and the Partitions worked better on Deer then Elk.

Using an obscene amount of RL22 (don't ask because I doubt it was a safe load in any gun but mine), I was able to get antelope accurate loads of right at 3800FPS. With the 100gr BT's, my rifle also like IMR4831 and RL19 almost as well, and I dare say a lot more safely.

As far as the 120gr Partitions, I couldn't ever get anything to shoot as well as Weatherby's 120gr partition load. Yeah, it's a pricey SumBitch, but it shoots less than an 1inch at 150yards and I could buy them just about anywhere.

My only complaint about the rifle is that it has a very rough bore. Needs to be cleaned after every time it's shot, or it fouls up very quickly. I tried really hard ot get the Barnes "X" bullets to shoot through this rifle, but as badly as it fouled it just wasn't worth the work.

I love the rifle, I've take 12 or so antelope and maybe a dozen deer and elk with it.

I would call Brians Surplus in Greentown and see what he has. If you can't find any I keep some light weights in stock for 256 Win Mag.
I can ship you a box.
