5-6 CZ 452s, a 455, 2 CZ 22 Mag semi autos, Weatherby XXII, Win 75, 2 US 44s, 2 39As, 2 39Ms, Norinco 98k Trainer, Remington 541T, Old Ruger 10/22 and an MP44 copy. Maybe half as many handguns. I’m getting ready to make a 4 hour round trip drive to pick up another rifle today. I guess it could be said I love 22s. But I’ve also been told I’m just a selfish hoarder... :dunno:
Any older handguns? Woodsman's, MKIs, High Standards etc?

Dad gave me a 22 when I was 5 years old. Began shooting at age 3. Gun was too heavy so dad would hold it up and I pulled the trigger. We practiced shooting empty 22 cases at 10 paces with open sights. I yet remember the first day I outshot dad. He was more excited than me. I have owned a few since that time. Great memories! My favorites 22 rifles are Remington 541S, CZ 455, Ruger 10-22, Marlin 39A, Ruger 77/22, T/C contender and and old Kodiak 22 mag semi auto (which I regrettably sold!). Favorites 22 pistols are High Standard Victor, High Standard Supermatic trophy, Stoeger Pro series, Browning Challenger (Old model), Browning Buckmark and T/C contender. Favorite 22 revolvers are Smith & Wesson model 17 , 48, 617, 648, 63, Ruger Super Single six, and an old High Standard Double Nine. The current ammo supply dilemma is putting a cramp on my kids and grandkids style. Good thing we had put some back for shortages to come. Good shooting
Please post pics of the High Standards!

Yup, old Woodsman, a The Woodsman, Targetsman, Challenger and an Ace, a 22 Conversion Unit, an Officers Model Match 22, a second year production S&W Mod 41 and a more modern 41, a 648, 17, German Walther PP 22, Sig P220 22, Ruger MKII Government Model, MKII SS Competition Target and a MKII Target 10”. Might have missed one or two. Oh, Beretta 950 22 Short and a couple NAA Mini revolvers.

Well, anytime I get to shoot I always take my 5 1/2” 41! I don’t have a Match Target Colt to compare but I’d love one someday. I need to trim down some and just get a few really nice guns.

    Thoughts on the PP22?
One if these days I'm gunna get an older autoloader and you've got basically all the ones that I've considered other than a Match Target and a HS Victor. Maybe the old FN Browning...

Mine is a real Walther PP 22 pistol not the current polymer gun they’re selling. It’s a great pistol ! For being so small it’s pretty accurate and a pleasant shooter. The Sig 220 22 is amazingly accurate and a good shooter as well. I’d really like to get one of the CZ conversion units for my Czech 75 someday too. Oh, and the 10” MKII is almost like shooting a rifle.

I like 22's enough that I finally gave the 22 kit for my ar a dedicated barrel and upper. It's lots of suppressed fun!

    Lots of cool stuff here!
I don't have a huge number of 22's but they are the ones that get shot the most. I've got a Tikka T1x for targets, a Ruger American standard for small game, a couple of 10/22s for fun along with a TX22 and P22 for pistol fun. Oh, and a couple of old single shot Winchesters.
One thing I've noticed is that I've gotten older I seem to enjoy them more than my centerfires. Cheap to shoot, easy on old bones, and not obnoxiously loud.

..... formerly near the Wild Turkey
Ruger 96/22, 77/22, too many 10/22 to count, Henry, Marlin 981T, Remington 581, Ruger American Rimfire, 77/17, Ruger American in 17hmr, Glock 44, Keltec P17, Ruger Mk I, II, III & IV, Ruger SR22 x3 CZ, Ruger Charger x3, LCP .22, S&W 15-22 and S&W 15-22P. I think the list is complete

That's an impressive list, but the Remington 581, for me, is the accuracy champion for the $$ they cost. I have a couple 581's and 582's, and those things will flat-out shoot, well above their pay grade.

I lately added a couple older ones to my small 22 collection. Got a nice 1950 Remington 550-1 and a 1947 Winchester 74. I like the older ones that are long and don't have cheap wood stocks. Besides that they take me back to my childhood LOL.

So I did a remodel on my rimfire "match rifle "
Bloop tube i machined up, had to do a little work to the picatinny rail to dovetail adapter, but rear sight is off an Anschutz and front sight is a RPA.
Rimfire sporter here i come...50 yard rapid fire target not great but not bad!

Oops, I did it again! Got word a local shop had a T1x with 16" barrel, been holding out for a 20 for the last 6 months but decided to take a look at it. Needless to say it came home with me. Because of how the barrel is mounted to the receiver the barrel looks much shorter than 16" so its a little goofy looking. To remedy the situation I decided to Form 1 a suppressor kit from Quiet Bore. :D Hopefully I'll be out of the doghouse before the stamp gets approved. :abused:

Have shot a variety over the yrs.
Colts, High Standards, Anschutz, Remingtons and Winchesters, a few Rugers and Marlins too.

    Grew up shooting .22lr.

    Hardly shoot that cartridge anymore

Got one bolt .22 that is mediocre and boring CZ455, and a .22 pistol ( my kid has health stuff that says no shoulder or head recoil ).

So i have 2 rigs that rarely get shot. But then i hardly shoot much of anything.

Why i downsized a while back and am keeping it downsized. I just hunt w a couple rigs and thats good enough.
