I gotta admit, I am starting to see this rising-price trend as being a bit more long-lived than a mere supply shortage. Most everything in my normal purchase categories are up about 15-20% since Jan 1. Some goods are way over that, but on average, my household budget has seen a decrease in buying power of about 20%. This has necessitated a not-unsubstantial reallocation of funding distribution.

So what are your real-life observations?

Busted supply chains, plus printing money, and low interest rates = inflation.

Classic too many $$ chasing too few goods...

Many consumer brands are announcing price hikes.

My supplier has raised my cost the 1st of every month this year. Including the increase coming in June, I will have had a 23 percent raise in cost in the last six months.
