    Jon,
Sorry if I missed this info previously, but is there a pre-registeration for any of the INMG matches? I'm interested in participating in the May 12 match at Hillside.

    Thanks!

The 2013 Season Start is only 2 weeks away! With our first event at
Atlanta Conservation Club coming up soon I want to say thanks to
everyone who has pre-registered and look forward to seeing everyone
    out this year.

Couple things before we get to the first event:

    - We need volunteers to help at Atlanta Conservation Club for setup!
If you come setup, you get to shoot the event for free! Brian was kind
enough to take over for me after last year and it would be a shame to
see him have as many issues as I did.

    - We need RO's for Sunday at the match. We have Myself, Tony, and
Brian so far. 3 more would be great! Again, RO's shoot free.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Give Brian a hand. Without Brian stepping up we
wouldn't have the expansion we do and the entire series would be even
farther away for our southern brethren.

Please contact Brian at brianmills@indianamultigun.com and let him
know. There are plenty of helpers in the Atlanta area, if you can
spare just 2 or 3 hours of your time that would be wonderful. Without
the support of the volunteer's, our events will disappear.

Are you guys a part of the 3 Gun Nation club series that is giving away those 50 Remington Versa Max Shotguns?

Series organizers can't win it? I know you backed out of prizes as a match director last year, but I was hoping you'd be back in the running this season.

no, they are prizes at the end of the year i believe. Right now we have not gotten in on it yet as we are still discussing the details of what has to be done on our end.

    I need a rule clarification

In efforts to upgrade my mossberg 930 to a more 3 gun friendly model I have been looking to get a longer barrel and tube combo

After calling mossberg a few times I have came to the conclusion they really dont care to help me with that plan unless I want to go with a ported barrel....or maybe I just get a bad sales person every time because I've seen on other forums people claim to "custom order" non ported barrels

    Now to my rule clarification

I know that a ported barrel means open div

But if I were to install a safe cover of the ports that would render them useless or disabled... What would the official INMG ruling be?

6.2.1 No electronic/optical sights, compensators or barrel porting allowed on handguns or shotguns.

What would be the ruling on a ported screw in choke for a shotgun? Carlson's Tactical Breecher Choke Tube Browning Invector Mossberg

The cheapest way to go would be to replace the barrel with the 930JM barrel in either 22" or 24", get the appropriate Nordic Ext. tube, and remove the rail on the receiver. Buy a few chokes and you're good to go. You can either get the Nordic magazine spring and trim it or the Mossberg. With the Mossberg spring ($6.00) there will be no trimming. The barrel isn't listed on their website. You have to call parts and ask for it.

Hillside Shooting Sports has stepped up BIG Time along with their donation of 2000rds of 40 S&W ammo, 500rds of Remington Shotgun ammo, plus a 5.11 Range Bag($125 value!), they have just donated 2 FN FNS 9mm pistols!

Make sure you show support for Hillside when you are at the events at their range this year! They sure are supporting us!
