A big thank you to Jake and Coach. What a great asset to USPSA in the state. I also want to thank all of the folks who set it up. And the great R/O staff that worked so hard and still tore down their stages. Made my life a lot easier.

I invite you all to come play the game. If not at ACC, somewhere. I have found some of the best folks on the planet. Mixed with the most fun you can have with a gun in your hand.

I want to thank everyone for the great comments. Really once the shooting started on Friday my jon was done, it was up to Coach and Steve Wright to make sure it ran right. We had alot of great help from the RO's and the range staff on getting 245 shooters thru!!

Anyone want to know why we do it.........
this sums it up (James Tarr is a GM Production shooter from Michigan)

    Jake:

your stages were so consistently good that I can only hope the Nationals
stages are their equal. I'm writing up the LPR Nats again this year for
Front Sight, and if their stages suck I'm going to say so, and use your
match as an example of good stages. These were good Nationals-type long
courses, and your speed shoots were excellent too, because there were
different ways to shoot them. You were heavy on long courses, but in a
format where you're limited to the number of stages a higher round count
isn't a bad thing. The 4/3/3 format is more traditional, but don't
worry about the round count, it's stage design that matters--and you
guys had a little bit of everything--doors, ports, hoser targets, small
targets at distance, shooting on the move, etc. Other than wishing you
had more stages, I don't wish you did anything different

That was pure "awesomeness" Great job Jake, awesome soundtrack

In case anyone missed the soundtrack it was all sliced up and put together.
The 70's porn music was actually from the Dirty Harry Magnum Force Soundtrack that started the video and ended the video

    Foo Fighters The Prentender
Lenny Kravitz Always on the Run
Jimi Hendrix All Along the Watch Tower & Fire

From 8:35 from on it is supposed to be like a fire works show ending with just a bunch of booms and bangs going off
I ended with Vogel becuase last year I started with him....

    this is what I use:
    Flip Ultra & UltraHDâ„¢

my folks got it for us for Christmas for video'ing the kid.

2 hrs of HD video, basic editing software for cropping/merging/adding music, long battery life, charges on USB. $200.

It's so simple, even my mom can use it (turn on power, big red button to start/stop, plug into USB to transfer to PC).

dude, you would have LOVED that match, sooo much awesomeness built in to the courses.

Since moving away, I've come to realize that NOBODY puts on a match, from stage design to organization, as well as the Indiana crew. To name just a few: Jake, Aron, Mike T, Dave B., Steve W., as well as many others... all are amazing match directors, organizers, and stage designers. I really miss getting to shoot up there all the time. I've heard nothing but praise for this years match. I wish I could have made it. Keep up the great work guys!

I second rvb on the HD Flip, it's what I use for matches. It's the perfect video camera for what we do. Compact, affordable, HD quality, and stupid simple to operate.

this is why you squad with the camera man!

Or in my case, 3 of us!

    Still waiting for Chun-Yu's footage.

I'm thinking there were more pixels than lead flying in our squad! At least, the photos were sharp. Gotta get as accurate with on the targets too.

On Chun-Yu's footage, did he wear that camera out at night too?
    :rockwoot:

    Not one of me
Mr Hammond is smart, he knew I would break his camera:D
Sorry, but it was a little too tough to run around and get images of other squads while shooting and pasting on ours.
Come to the Silver Creek match and let's squad up. I'll fix that!
