SOLD
Model 1941 WWII-era Johnson semiautomatic 30-06 rifle.
These rifles were a competitor to the M1 Garand for the US Army standard issue rifle going into WWII. The Marine Corp ordered the bulk of them, with many of them seeing use in the Pacific theater, notably on Iwo Jima.
This is a great example of one, in overall excellent condition. There is one small chip in the stock forward of the rotary magazine, visible in the pictures. The rifle is in excellent working condition. I fired a few rounds, and was surprised at how smooth it operates.
22” barrel
10 round rotary magazine
I have seen the few of these that appear on Gunbroker selling for around $6000. I would prefer to sell it through INGO though!
$5200 $5100 $5000
