I Built a Dual Slide 1911, it has both Government and Commander length slides. Frame and both slides are Caspian and both barrels are Bar Sto. Internals consist of EGW and Cylinder and slide parts. Nothing cheap..

I don't have a good reason for doing the dual slide thing other then I can and you could buy both a commander and government size pistols for what I would have in this, but I have never seen one done before, maybe but I haven't seen it.
I am "pretty sure" I am going to give this to my daughter for Christmas, it's in 45 and it is a shooter.

I plan on having a custom case for it as well

I think this is an omen for me to finally break out my stashed 2011 frame and put it in Allen’s build rotation.....there goes the wife’s Christmas cash stash...
