    Spyderco Manix 2
    Spyderco Native 5
Spyderco Police Model, G-10, FFG (a little over $100)

The Manix 2 has a nice, wide, flat ground blade that would give plenty of room for laser engraving on a flat surface. The other two Spydercos I mentioned are also flat ground.

What do you have against flat ground blades?

I will buy one of these

How do we get in line to buy one. I'm not particular about the knife I am sure out of all the above choices a great one will be selected. I just want in.

You can't go wrong with Spyderco, any model.

Even if you can agree with a brand and model you will have to deal with the color too, that should be fun. :):

Maybe some black or stainless will be easier to please the largest number of people.:dunno:

Whatever it ends up being I'm on board, especially if it's an automatic. A little distant early warning in this thread on how to purchase said knife would be awesome so those of us expressing interest can get in on the sale. Spyderco gets my vote, BTW.

Yeah. This. I'll try to get in on the action as well. I have been trying to talk myself into a spyderco for some time.

    Right here.
If you're still looking for suggestions anything from the KAI Group made in the USA (Kershaw, Zero Tolerance, Shun) would be a solid choice. I'm particularly fond of the Kershaw Leek, or any other Ken Onion design, and it keeps you below your price point.

If you want Fenway to have any profit he can use to run this place, quit suggesting knives that retail for $100 without the custom engraving.

Hey... so... not being pushy, but how's this coming along? I've got $150 in a coffee can driving me nuts waiting on word.
