I just put a new bull barrel on my 10-22. It shoots as well as I can in this cold weather, but I am having a few failure to extract issues. Not bad, only about 1 round out of every 2 or 3 mags. Any ideas? Thanks.
had the same problems when shooting thunderbolts, switched to ccis and not a problem since, i also have a aftermarket chrome lined bull barrel with a match chamber and trigger job if that helps you any
Any bulk ammo or hollow points that I have used in a 10/22 never work that well.CCI mini mags fmj or the Federal red box works the best if you can find them.
I always shoot CCI Stingers and have never had a problem...I even went almost 5000 rds without cleaning the gun...but have never done that again. The 10/22 is one of the most reliable rifles out there.
