This one is for you @patience0830! A positive review! :):

Piggybacking off my negative review of the CMP store, I placed my order for the replacement slings an hour ago. I recall dealing with www.ammogarand.com back when I first bought my Garand and needed to fix an issue with my sights. I actually had a long conversation with the owner on the phone at the time, where he took the time to answer my questions and help me order exactly what I needed. And we ended up in a long social conversation reminiscent of an INGO purchase meetup. Dude would fit right in here.

As I started to google my way for alternatives for the slings(other than overpriced Amazon) , I remembered this gent. Sure enough I found his website and put in the order, expecting to not hear anything until Monday. Silly me.

I just got the "shipping confirmation" a few minutes ago. The dude took the time to package up the order so it can go out asap.(or at least printed the label) And knowing him, I'll bet its at the post office tomorrow, but I wont be disappointed if its Monday. Given his size I doubt its an automated system given it wasnt a fast turnaround between the order notice and ship notice.

So if you are looking for parts for your Garand, or even accessories like slings and sling swivels, he's your guy. Even obscure M1/M14 'smithing tools/parts.
