Anybody here running a NOCO battery on the Harley? I have a 2014 ultra limited that will probably need a new battery soon. I have ran big crank brand batteries for quite a while and they do hold up well. That being said I found a pretty good deal on one of the NOCO batteries sized for my bike...
What a good time for my first outing of the year. I finally got my speed back up somewhere around our third stage.
I was glad I could finally make it early enough to help with setup.
Thank you to Wildcat Valley for holding this type of event. Wish there were more in Indiana.
I had mine out. Couldn't stand it any longer and with the 70s temps it had to happen. It was great therapy.
I could tell it was a first ride though. Familiarity fades after a few months....

I saw these in Menards this past weekend. I've refilled my own regular 1# bottles for years but it's interesting to see them now with a pop off/ bleeder. The box says 60 second fill time which is what I've always done anyway...

Great match Mick!
Of course I loved the double Texas star stage as well as the "confusion" stage.
I'll have to see if I can make it to one more of your matches before winter.
Thank you and Wildcat for holding the match.
I experienced the first major outage at my "new" house that I moved into in '22 during the 4th of July outage.
At the old place I had manual transfer switch with the (6-8?) circuits I wanted. AC was not a priority for me. Gas furnace and H water so no problems running on what I believe is a...
Last night I actually tried something I saw on a show a few years back. Cooking directly on coals...
After the wood fire I had going from burning brush from the past weekend's cleanup, I banked the logs side by side. I placed two ears of unshucked corn on the logs and turned them every minute...
Yes, something like this. Sounds like the same idea us motorcycle riders use for our batteries. Plug it in every time we get back to the garage. Just make sure the charger is matched to the type of battery you are going to use of course.
Oh, and maintain your connections.
