Better than Mr. 2004, a governor that I really liked.

Hate to lose him as my congressman but I think he will make a good senator.

Maybe I should run for his congressional seat.

He's not Braun, but he's got more backbone than the other candidates.
His voting record could be better. Again its still much better than the other candidates will be.

Neither one has impressed me much. I have contacted Jim Banks office a couple of times on different subjects, got an answer back from one of his staffers that he is too busy to read my comments, but the staffer would inform him of my feelings. And there were no comments from them what their thoughts were. I almost felt like they could have sent me a letter that said 'Pound Sand' , and I would have felt the same way. JMHO

Any Senators or Representatives have staffers that read letters.
all they report is, x number FOR this, y number AGAINST this.

OCCASIONALLY they may pull one out that supports a position they already support.
But they receive hundreds/thousands of letters.

I think the key is going to be who the Democrats put up as a candidate for Senator.

John Rust is running fresh ads saying Banks is “Virginia Jim” and aligning him with Mitch. Also, my favorite insult- Jim is not “America First.”

Rust and Trump are America first, apparently. I thought he was booted from the ballot.

I checked his voting record.
He isn't a Braun, but he's much better than most Republicans and way better than Young.
He votes with the constitution around 80% of the time in the last few years.

Both Jim Banks and Todd Young voted to fund the Biden admin one more time this pass weekend.
