Haven't had time to do much leather work since I've been working on the house alone after my dad messed his back up again and is waiting on surgery #4 now. Then I messed mine up and now my right leg decided not to work so I have time again.

Knocked out a BUNCH of coasters. Did plain ones of different colors, sun and moon, infantry rifles, and flags. Would post pictures but don't think I can make it down the stairs without tumbling down lol.

Still need to finish my wife's long wallet for our anniversary last month. This is our leather year so it's my time to shine.
Hope you and your dad have a speedy recovery!

@DadSmith I'm making a belt for the guy that had me make the wallets that has large scales embossed in it that are kinda gator-ish. 97638d948c1d9756995fa52ee10a15c2e1063f24_2400x2400.jpg
If it needed to be like the wallet I'd have to shop around for a big enough piece to cut a belt from.

Made some progress on my wife's wallet tonight based it off the makers leather supply wallet. Pockets are tyvek to reduce bulk which is what aaron from makers recommends. Not too impressive but since I didn't buy the template I had to do the layout based what his looked like in the video. The color scheme is all over on this but I'm just kinda having fun with it. The wallet back is vegtan dyed red with black spatter on it. Then the pockets are this color.

Made a couple stitching mistakes but nothing major next time I'll clean my glasses before sewing lol. Tomorrow I'll sew the left pockets and hammer my stitches and touch up the dye around the thread then its edge work and applying the finish. It's only 2 months late no big deal right? Think I might make another after this just because it's kinda fun and I want to make it a little nicer.

Ordered a cordless/hoseless air brush to play with. I got distracted and didn't screw the stem in that controls the flow so it was heavy on the black but I still like it. My wife really likes it. Got a couple 1911 pancakes that I'm going to experiment on tomorrow and I'll make sure to adjust it right before spraying.

Working on this copy of an old police holster. It was a tom threepersons that was molded to the gun. So I took the pattern I have and lengthened it a bit so it hung lower. Molded it as deep and heavy as I could I think it looks good for 10-11oz. Not done yet still need to smooth some stuff out. As it is now the gun snaps in like kydex and can be shaken upside down without falling.

Started cutting out a big batch of crosses got a bunch going to a senior living apartment complex for Easter then making more on top of that just because these are pretty popular. I picked some rough looking leather to make a few from because I think they'll look cool.

Drew up a pattern for a dropped belt loop for an esee 3 factory sheath. I made a high ride loop from horse hide that I've been using since I first bought the knife but it sits really high. Liked the pattern so I made one from 5-6 oz. I like it a lot more than the high ride. I'll make a cleaned up version tomorrow. Might play with dyes to try and get a dye that matches the sheath too or I might just oil it and let it patina.
