There was chatter that people at the 1500 were selling demilled MG kits and telling people they could buy them, reassemble them and register their "new" machinegun on a form 4.

Were they talking about Dewats?
I'm assuming no since they weren't going on a Form 5 (as a Dewat would require). From what I heard and understand, they were demils.
