I couldn’t care less what the riders on the gravy train want, just follow the money, you think charters were for what? They were to freeze out anyone with different opinions, just like you try to do…

You don't need a charter to race in Nascar…..
And skid plates that hit off bright sparks when they dive in a corner too deep.

Engineering in Nascar used to be why a lot of people enjoyed the sport so much. Anyone remember Jeff Gordons T-Rex car at Charlotte? The car fit the rule book, but was still banned.
Let the car owners get every horsepower out of an engine they can. Then, when theyre pushing the engine to the limits and dominating a race, they gotta make sure it is a balance of power vs longevity. Can build an engine that dominates but if it doesnt last 500 miles they arent winning ****.
Remember the DEI engine #11? Those days are gone. Now its “heres your valve springs, crankshaft, block, piston, heads, carburetor, and intake”.
You can adjust tire pressure (within limitations) and spring rates (again, within limitations).
This is why i enjoy dirt track racing. Theres a rulebook. If you build a chassis that fits the rulebook but dominates, so what, other teams should work on figuring it out. Motor is the same way. Leave it to the teams and drivers.

To be fair, you participate in your share. The 2023 thread had no arguing in it until you began. The mods here do an amazing job, and shouldnt need to babysit a bunch of adults. They allow us to discuss, agree or disagree, and work it out amongst ourselves, stepping in when it gets out of line. This isnt their full time job. They live lifes as well, and volunteer to monitor us idiots to give us a place to talk about topics we enjoy discussing. I take your post as insulting to them.
But, for once, you werent talking about me, so i have no dog in that fight. But visit other forums and see how out of line it is, or how over bearing the moderation is. INGO is amazing in comparison.
Where was the outcry when a certain NASCAR thread poster came into the Dirt Track thread and took a sh*t?
Says the guy who had to have a 30 day vacation to stop posting drunk arrogant personal attacks!
Yeah the 2023 thread got in to argument/ditches when I stood up to the miss information false beliefs that was being spread in the thread then a few started a dog pile to silence the critic….. didn’t work!
No one is calling out the moderation just stating the obvious….

No IROC was fun...drivers from a variety of series competing in spec equipment.
It did work. You were exposed as a nascar suck up, that couldn’t back up their assertions with links, that ignores the reality.
It would not have gotten off the road if you didn’t have an obsession of trying to argue or excuse away anything negative about nascar.
In your mind it worked…. But your the great “IronMike” Nascar only self appointed Historian…. legend in your own mind!
BTW… I posted plenty of factor links from Nascar sources…. Sorry they didn’t meet your Historian expectations.
