Not really sure where to post this question so here seems like a decent option. Are there legal hoops you have to jump through in Indiana to privately purchase a handgun besides not being a prohibited possessor?
Would I be able to privately purchase a handgun as a 20 year old with a Concealed Carry Permit?
It depends on the seller. Some dingbats think they have to make you jump through hoops. For example, some dingbats think the address on your LTCH has to match your driver's license.

I’m a dingbat, or worse if you like.

    1. I don’t care what your DL address is, further more I don’t care what the address is on your Concealed Carry Permit. (It’s obvious to me this guy doesn’t have the comprehension or understanding to know what he is asking for, he just wants a gun, imagine that).

    2. His elders didn’t think to gift or purchase for him a sidearm. (Or they did and know better than an internet individual).

    3. Wait till he gets 50 posts and PM him and sell him a gun.

    4. A hundred other points I could make but I won’t.

    5. Not starting nor will I make an argument. This is only MY opinion and I stand by it.

Rookie, please don’t hammer me I’m only trying to give a different point of view. I do respect your tenured point of view.

There was a court ruling that anyone at 18 could buy from an ffl dealer but of course there is like a 3 week waiting time frame for many different background checks besides just thru nics. legal age(18) to buy privately isn't stated in the laws.

I won't hammer you at all. The seller gets to determine the rules of the sale. If the buyer doesn't like the rules, the buyer can move on to the next sale.

I might think your rules make you a dingbat, but I won't specifically name you. ;)
