Was deployed to Guam and discovered how much the Pacific islanders loved SPAM. Felt like a Monty Python sketch.

While deployed there, our Command Chief finds out there was a local street fair. He rounds up a truck and hauls a bunch of us to it, to try out the local food. He found a vendor selling "meat on a stick" and bought a bunch for us. The vendor would not say exactly what it was. Command Chief asked us what we thought of it and one of the guys pipes up, "tastes like calico"!

I worked with a guy who put French dressing on all of his cold-cut sandwiches he brought for lunch.
I like French dressing , but never got up the nerve to try it.

French dressing and bbq sauce are just sweetened ketchup. BBQ just has more savory spices in it.
